What’s going into Your Temple?

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:29
For three years now I have been in a battle of eating healthy, aren’t we all at some point? I’ll stay on track for a few months then fall off. Nevertheless, This battle is due to my eyes being opened in class one day. I’ll never forget my Personal and Community Health teacher, sophomore year of college, who preached on the poison we put in our bodies everyday. Proud and pushy vegan, she had me becoming more conscious of what I was eating on a daily basis. During her class I even ended up “vegetarian” for all of three months hahah. It was one of the toughest things I’d ever done; having to reprogram my mind from the eating patterns of the world. (It makes a lot of sense now. From a spiritual perspective, Satan is in control of the world and his purpose is to kill, steal, and destroy by keeping us in confusion/disobedience. So, why wouldn’t he want us to destroy our bodies, the temple of the Holy spirit, with processed foods, drugs/alcohol, GMOs and everything else contrary to the Kingdom of God?)
As of December 2016, I am on the road to truly living out Gen 1:29 by the age of 30. However, it will most likely happen before then! This month my focus has been eliminating fried foods, no dairy except for baked goods because I LOVE deserts, limit processed foods, and add new vegetables and fruit! Since Easter, I have kept a food log to assist in the process of transitioning, and to be able to provide 31 days of meals for others who desire to feed their temple LIFE instead of destruction! Look out for more of how things are going in the future! Please, leave comments about you tagging along or what has worked for you in becoming vegan or whatever you’d like really! Until next time..
