God, what do I do in this situation?

Everyone has asked God the “what do I do in this situation?” question. This morning after I asked God the same question, he whispered in my ear “deny yourself” (Mark 8:34). In my case that was exactly what I needed to hear. When I read the passage of scripture verse 38 convicted me even more. It says, “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angles”. This was more conviction and even the answer to my question. If I press in to the Father and not allow the world to continue to be pleasing to me, then what I need fixed will be fixed. Taking our eyes off Jesus is the quickest way to start sinking.
See, Satan is the ruler of the world and has one job but to kill, steal and destroy, according to John 10:10. For example look at Peter in Luke 22:31. Satan “desired”. Pause. Reeeeally think about that statement. The Greek translation of “desired” used in this verse means to demand. So Satan demanded to have Peter, to sift him as wheat. Satan wanted to cut him down and beat him.. Knowing this, we must not ALLOW Satan this authority over us and fight him with the word. Luckily, as Peter did, we have the same intercessor who prays for our Faith. Hallelujah! That if we do fall or allow Satan authority over us; when we come to ourselves, we repent and strengthen our brother. I have to admit that I allowed the ruler of world to sift me, and it’s time to stand up. Whatever you’re going through you can literally decided in your mind to stand up and get back to God who is our strength, our fortress, our refuge and MUCH more. We gotta keep our eyes on Him.

Matt 6:33 says to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and ALL these things shall be added unto you. This verse really is the other answer because it’s telling us to seek Christ who is the kingdom of God. This will keep you from allowing Satan to have you, it will keep you grounded, and you will know what you need to do in the situation because your mind will be stayed on Him.
